PREMATÉCNICA ANDTHE 2030 AGENDA
As a company that counts SUSTAINABILITY among its core values, at PREMATECNICA we have consulted all our staff and examined how we contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form humanity’s agenda for 2030. We have also undergone training in this area, recently achieving accreditation as a SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIER based on our compliance with the training programme presented by the UN Global Compact, in collaboration with ICO and ICEX. Through the core activities of our business, we contribute directly to the achievement of SDGs 7, 12 and 13, and, through our management models, to that of SDGs 5, 8, 10 and 16, as follows:
- We promote equal opportunities through measures that support the professional development and advancement of everyone in the company.
- We guarantee fairness in our recruitment, remuneration, training and promotion processes, without discrimination on the grounds of gender.
- We promote the representation of women in positions of responsibility. Since January 2018, the General Management has been led by a woman.
- We work to reduce the emissions associated with our clients’ industrial activities, whilst also improving the safety and efficiency of their facilities.
- We offer technical solutions that promote the use of renewable gases, such as biomethane and hydrogen, thereby contributing to decarbonisation.
- Our recruitment policy is committed to stable, high-quality employment, with a focus on permanent contracts.
- We promote measures that help our staff achieve a better work-life balance.
- We promote the organisation’s sustainable growth, fostering job stability and the long-term retention of jobs.
- We conduct our business in accordance with current legislation, promoting quality employment and decent working conditions, thereby contributing to economic and social development.
- We place people at the heart of our strategy, fostering the recruitment, development and retention of talent within a stable, high-quality working environment.
- We guarantee that there will be no discrimination on the grounds of age, gender, nationality or other personal circumstances.
