Ethical Code

Through our CODE OF ETHICS, we want to acquire a public commitment with stakeholders in the application of our principles and values in all areas of business activity that we carry out.

Ongoing dialogue and contact with stakeholders is a priority for our organization. A reflection of this is this code of ethics where we also want to embody our commitment in social, environmental and economic matters.

Our ethical principles are based on honesty, transparency and equality in the conduct of business; the health and safety of people, as well as the integrity of employees, customers and suppliers. The defense of human rights and environmental protection are also fundamental pillars of our culture.

PREMATECNICA aims to go beyond compliance with the laws in force in these areas, anticipating and providing the necessary means to ensure compliance with these principles and the channels of communication and resolution of conflicts arising from them.

All employees and external collaborators of PREMATECNICA are committed to compliance with this code of ethics. In the event that any situation of non-compliance or violation of this is detected, they undertake to communicate it through the channels made available by PREMATECNICA for this purpose:

  • Honesty: all employees, as well as the various collaborators of PREMATECNICA are committed to act in accordance with legality, with a commonly accepted ethical behavior, always ensuring the good of the organization and business relations.
  • Equality: in all aspects of employment for employees, whether of career opportunities, gender, religion, race or culture. Also, for clients and suppliers, regarding access to contracts, submission of proposals and budgets.
  • Integrity: respect for the person as a whole. Any behavior that harms the physical, psychological or moral integrity of any person related to the activity of PREMATECNICA is expressly prohibited, always ensuring respect for individuals at all levels.

It is also the responsibility of PREMATECNICA to ensure physical integrity in the workplace in a safe and healthy environment through a comprehensive occupational hazard prevention plan (PRL):

  • Transparency: all internal and external communications are carried out through the principle of transparency, where all information related to the event will be communicated in time and form to all actors involved and interested.

Internally, employees must be informed of any changes concerning the organization clearly and with sufficient information. Everything related to training processes, promotions or any other aspect concerning personnel management will also be brought to the attention of those involved.

Contracts with clients should be clear and simple, understandable not only by experts. They must always ensure compliance with current regulations and include all aspects related to the action being contracted. Any modification of the contract must be informed by the parties in time and form.

Suppliers should have the same opportunities when accessing a contract with PREMATECNICA. The terms of this agreement must be clear and based on the principles of transparency, honesty, and collaboration.

PREMATECNICA reserves the right to work again with a supplier of any type of good or service that violates any of the points set out in this code of ethics:

  • Impartiality: the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders involved in decision-making are defined and separated so that decisions are taken objectively and on equal terms. This approach applies to all areas and decisions of the Organization.
  • Ethical conduct in case of conflict of interest: decision-making processes shall be always transparent and under no circumstances may persons who may enter into a conflict of interest before the decision to be taken, thereby ensuring impartiality and equality. Gifts that exceed the normal courtesy or practice, payments or favors that could influence a decision in any way will not be admitted. This same criterion applies to gifts made by PREMATECNICA within its commercial activity.

Other essential principles include:

  • Confidentiality and reputation: in all aspects related to the business activity. Both the relationship with clients, contracts with suppliers and working and personal conditions of employees. To this end, all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the privacy of information. In line with the care of the company’s reputation, it must be reported on the activities outside of work carried out by employees and that may conflict with the company’s own activity.
  • Environmental protection: PREMATECNICA defends the protection of the environment in accordance with the environmental policy and plan with the premise of minimizing its environmental footprint to the extent possible and in all aspects of its activity. PREMATECNICA is committed to carrying out actions aimed at raising awareness among internal and external collaborators of the importance of environmental care and to disseminate its environmental policy.

This code of ethics must be maintained, reviewed and communicated both internally and externally periodically to ensure that it is in line with PREMATECNICA’s actual activity at all times. Non-compliance with this code of ethics by any internal or external collaborator will be evaluated by the committee made available by PREMATECNICA for the analysis of the situation, which will take the measures it deems appropriate.
