We are thrilled to announce that PREMATECNICA gets certified as a Sustainable Supplier from the UN Global Compact Spain, first edition of the Training Program: Sustainable Suppliers.
This program has been created by the UN Global Compact Spain (UN Global Compact), ICO Foundation and ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones (ICEX). This program consists of providing training in specific areas of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to SMEs that supply the large enterprises that have partnered with the initiative in Spain. It is an international training project focusing not only on Spanish suppliers but ones from other countries, too.
Supply chains are one of the drivers of the global economy, essential for the development and marketing of goods and services worldwide and for connecting companies of different sizes across different industries and geographical areas.
Program Objectives:
Train the supply chains of large Spanish enterprises that have partnered with the initiative in Spain in the field of sustainability, taking the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs as a reference.
Provide knowledge and resources to Spanish and foreign SMEs on corporate sustainability based on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs.
Help SMEs that supply large enterprises and Global Compact partners comply with the national, European and international regulatory frameworks regarding sustainability.
Position Spain as a benchmark in the promotion of corporate sustainability and contribution to the 2030 Agenda through a pioneering UN project.
