Our represented BRODIE INTERNATIONAL has developed a compact tester that provides high precision, fast operation and continuous flow to verify flow meters on an operating line.
Designed to API MPMS standards (ch. 4) the BRODIE compact tester can be used to verify the accuracy of almost any type of liquid flowmeter, including manufactured pulse, turbine and positive displacement meters.
The test is performed without interrupting normal flow and without the use of manually operated bypass valves. The unique design features a piston assembly with an internal poppet valve along with optical position sensing, hydraulic piston return, pneumatic piston actuation and modern data processing techniques. The result is a continuous test system with a significantly reduced footprint.
